There are a few different companies that you can choose from, but we’ve found the most tour options coming from Panhandle Helicopter. On the lower-priced end of things, running around $55 per person, you have the Miracle Strip Tour, flying over the city and county piers. This tour will also offer you some shipwreck waterpark sightings and an aerial view of the hotels and beaches in the direct area. For something a little more adventurous, we suggest the Shark Run Tour. This $80 tour heads out in hopes of showing off the hammerhead and bull sharks in the reefs and shipwreck nearby. You can’t find views like that anywhere else!
The Shell Island Tour is a lengthy tour, traveling up to 28 miles and showing off a multitude of marine creatures, shipwrecks, and man-made reefs. This tour will generally run about $125 per person, mainly because of the distance and viewing opportunities. The Seaside Tour will be great for those staying in condos near the seaside and 30A area. You will see the districts of Rosemary Beach, Seacrest Beach, Alys Beach, Seagrove Beach and Seaside near the rolling dunes. This tour is especially great for those who are fans of architecture.
The Run to the Pass Tour ends up being a 22-mile trip all the way to the jetties. You will be able to see plenty of marine life on the way and will see the entire coastline from Pier Park to St. Andrews State Park. Finally, a crowd favorite is the Shell Island and Breakfast Point Tour. This tour runs around $150 per person and is a 36-mile trip that grants you the views of many of the areas mentioned above. You will see the Miracle Strip, Run to Pass, Shells Island, and even the Grand Lagoon.
