Seaside is well-known for its excellent shopping and boutiques. No matter what you’re in the market for, you’ll find a shop in Seaside that has what you need.

Most of the shops in Seaside are independently owned and operated. Standout shops include Sundog Books, Focus (accessories, clothing, and custom jewelry), Mercantile (earth-friendly, American-made merchandise), The Foster Gallery (art gallery), Artful Eye (sunglasses and prescription eyewear) and Amore by the Sea (eclectic shop).

Stop into SEASIDE Style to find clothes and accessories that embody the Seaside lifestyle. The shop’s collection includes the original “New Town… Old Ways” t-shirt.

Kids (and adults who are kids at heart) will love Duckies Shop of Fun, which sells whimsical toys, beach gear, and fun gifts.

Over at Central Square Records, you’ll find new and used records, CDs, cards, turntables, posters, t-shirts, instruments and more.

The Seaside Farmers Market is a great place to score local produce and goods. Modica Market is a family-owned shop that offers gourmet and specialty food items. Modica has been featured in hundreds of magazines, including Conde Nast Traveler, Travel+Leisure and Vogue.

Seaside’s shops are concentrated in a small area, making it easy to browse and shop at your leisure.

Seaside offers an eclectic mix of restaurants that will satisfy every taste. From traditional Southern fare to pizza, seafood, tacos, and ice cream, Seaside has a diverse range of food options.

Head on over to Airstream Row to experience a twist on the typical food truck. Local vendors serve up delicious treats and savory bites out of their Airstreams.

Barefoot BBQ serves up antibiotic-free, steroid-free and hormone-free barbecue on Airstream Row. Crepes du Soleil brings a taste of France to Seaside. Will Bill’s Beach Dogs serves grass-fed beef hot dogs on special buns. For a refreshing treat, head to Frostbites, which serves shaved ice.

If you’re looking for a sit-down dining experience, head over to the Great Southern Café. This casual restaurant fuses international cuisine with southern cooking with a focus on local produce and fresh seafood.

Peel boiled shrimp on the Shrimp Shack’s beachside screened porch, which offers some of the best views in the area. Hit the Taco Bar for Tex-Mex bites, or visit Bud & Alley’s Pizza Bar for a late-night slice of pizza.

Seaside offers dining and shopping as well as fun parks with nature trails. This charming little town also gives you beach access, so you can easily spend the entire day in Seaside. The town’s clean and welcoming beaches offer some of the most beautiful sunsets around.
