Here are a few of the best eateries for you to check out. 

Shaka Sushi

If you want to treat yourself to a fun night out with some of the best sushi in Panama City Beach, Shaka Sushi and Cocktail Bar is the place to be. You’ll find a wide range of menu options, including classic and specialty sushi rolls; try varieties like the Double Red Flag, California Dreamin’, Maverick, Jaws Rolls, and more. Besides sushi, you can get poke bowls, noodle bowls, seafood entrees, and more. Of course, there’s an extensive drink menu as well, featuring unique cocktails, various beer and wine varieties, and your choice of sake. 

Shaka Sushi and Cocktail Bar is located at 13625 US Highway 98 East, Suite 5. Visit daily from 4 to 9 p.m.

Sake House II

Many locals agree that a great spot for sushi near Panama City Beach is Sake House II. Whether you visit them in person or order online to take your food back to your rental, you’ll find the experience unlike any other! Only the freshest ingredients are used to make sushi varieties like smoked salmon sushi, tamago (egg omelet) sushi, and inari (tofu) sushi. You’ll find much more than just sushi, though. Take your pick from traditional Japanese dinners, bento boxes, stir fry, and more. 

Sake House II is located at 1012 Thomas Drive #7444. They’re open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. You can also visit on Friday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 4:30 to 9 p.m., or Sunday from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Firefly

If you’re booking one of our Panama City Beach rentals to treat yourself to an upscale vacation, then Firefly will fit that theme perfectly. This “casual fine dining” restaurant, as it labels itself, is perfect for a romantic evening or a dinner fit for royalty. The sushi menu includes delectable seafood like Atlantic salmon, eel, tuna, yellowtail, and more. You’ll also find unique land options for those in your party who aren’t in the mood for seafood. Don’t forget to finish your meal with a dessert option like the crème brulee or New York cheesecake!

Firefly is located at the Shoppes at Edgewater, 535 N Richard Jackson Boulevard. Visit them Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. or Friday and Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m. They’re closed on Mondays. 

The Osaka House

At Osaka, they’ve summarized their style perfectly: “We roll with the freshest!” For the past 30 years, Osaka Japanese Hibachi Steakhouse and Sushi Bar has been serving the most mouthwatering sushi and other Japanese favorites to PCB locals and visitors alike. Enjoy sushi specialties like the Mr. Destiny Roll, the Samurai Roll, the Godzilla Roll, and more. Can’t decide on just one roll? You can get two or three rolls at once at a discount! In addition to sushi, you’ll find teppanyaki dinners, bento boxes, yakisoba noodles, and fried rice bowls.

The Osaka House is located at 15533 Panama City Beach Parkway. They’re open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Jin Jin 88

Offering a wide array of Chinese and Japanese dishes, Jin Jin 88 has emerged as one of the most popular beachfront restaurants in Panama City Beach. All of their dishes are made with top-grade rice and other high-quality ingredients. Get a traditional avocado roll or California roll, or try something more exciting like the Florida Roll or the Valentine Roll. Besides sushi, you can opt for fried rice, a tempura entrée, or a hibachi entrée. They have an entire Chinese menu as well, so everyone in your group should be able to find something to satisfy!

Jin Jin 88 is located at 11560 Panama City Beach Parkway #102. They are open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., and Sunday from 12 noon to 10 p.m.

Island Fin Poke

We have to be honest: Island Fin Poke doesn’t exactly offer sushi. However, if you’re looking for a fun and unique way to get fresh sushi-grade seafood, then this is the place to be. The Hawaiian-style poke bowls available here take advantage of the freshest local ingredients and highlight traditional island flavors. Customize your bowl with white rice, brown rice, or spring mix. Then choose your protein, mix-ins, marinating sauce, toppings, and finishing sauce. You can get a new bowl every time you come!

Island Fin Poke is located at Pier Park North, 15500 Panama City Beach Parkway, Suite #320. They are open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Oishi Thai

Oishi Thai Restaurant & Sushi Bar is one of the best places to get Thai food around Panama City Beach, and its unique menu is part of its incredible appeal. The wait staff is helpful and friendly when recommending dishes and catering to your every need during dinner. In addition to the dozens of sushi options you can choose from, you may opt for curry, fried rice, beef and broccoli, garlic pork, or another tempting entrée. As the name suggests, Hibachi Express & Sushi is the best place to be if you’re trying to fit in a quick meal between the sights of the day. Conveniently located a short drive from our Panama City Beach condo rentals, this eatery offers delicious, well-prepared food in a snap. Popular sushi options include the Crazy Crunchy Shrimp Roll, the Rainbow Roll, and the Tri-Spicy Tuna Roll, among others. You can also try a hibachi entrée or even build your own poke bowl!

Hibachi Express & Sushi is located at 9956 Hutchinson Boulevard Unit 500. They are open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
