The “Sea Dragon” Pirate Cruise is locally owned and operated by Capt. “Fearless” Phil and his family, who are locals to Panama City and have extensive experience at sea. The business operates on the principle of giving visitors value for their hard-earned money through wholesome sightseeing adventure. Captain “Fearless” Phil has experience as a scuba diving instructor, First Aid/CPR instructor, and lifeguard, and he loves working with kids!
This cruise will take you back in time to the carefree days of pirates. For two hours cruise, there will be dolphin sightings, great music, and non-stop pirate activities for kids. Beers, sodas, snacks, t-shirts, and pirate souvenirs are available for purchase on deck as well. Parents can relax, as attentive crew members will ensure children are always safe.
What to Expect
Are your kids musical? If so, they will love the pirate sing-along soundtrack! Music is fun, upbeat, and synced to the activities happening on deck. By the end of the tour, the whole family will by humming pirate songs!
Pirate activities for the kids include sword fighting, swabbing the deck, firing the “kid cannon,” reading a treasure map, finding sunken treasure, and sharing the loot. In addition, there is a water gun fight, face painting, and a pirate dance party with pirate tattoos for kids. If parents are looking for a little down time, this is the perfect way to keep your kids entertained while you relax with a cold beer on deck!
For the duration of the cruise, the boat will not venture more than a half mile from shore. There’s simply more to see closer to land. While sightings are not guaranteed, Captain “Fearless” Phil will do all he can to ensure an encounter with wild dolphins. He knows the local dolphin habitats and all the best places to find them, so there is usually at least one sighting!
In the event of a rainstorm, there is plenty of room inside for activities to continue. No matter the weather in Panama City Beach, the pirates cannot be stopped!

Pricing
For adults age 15 and up, tickets cost $27 not including tax. Tickets for seniors 60 and up cost $23. For children ages 3 to 14, the price is $19, and for toddlers age 1 and 2, it is $13. Infants under 12 months are free; however, by law they are still required to receive tickets, so when making reservations, be sure to mention any infants in your company!
For an extra $2 on all tickets, you will receive the added benefit of a sunset cruise. Sunsets on the Gulf are a kaleidoscope of colors and certainly worth an extra $2 to experience!
